About our SUP Yoga Class:
Adrian teaches all-levels Vinyasa StandUp Paddleboard Yoga classes that are accessible to those who are new to both yoga and paddling, as well as experienced practitioners. After a short paddle, students will be anchored together using a mooring system before class to ensure that everyone stays together and within earshot of the instructor. During class, you can expect to experience guided breathing, traditional Vinyasa Yoga postures, and posture modifications which allow for traditional postures to be more easily accessible on the water. All students are encouraged to only do as much as they are comfortable with and modifications are always offered and available. Classes end with Savasana and then students are invited to partake in some playtime on the boards to try anything that was not covered in class such as backbends, arm balances and inversions. Photographs of the class will be available for anyone who is interested!
Location: Pleasant Harbor Marina (driving directions and parking instructions). Reservations are a must. Please arrive at the marina at least 30 minutes prior to class time in order to sign out Stand Up Paddleboards and equipment w/ Go Paddle AZ.
