Water politics has been an ongoing global concern as populations grow and droughts plague certain regions. In this screening, the provocative shows Abandoned and RISE from the cable television channel VICELAND visit with residents in rural California and Canada as they speak out about the quality and availability of water in their communities and the sustainability of their current situation.

About VICELAND

Most TV channels are just a collection of shows – VICELAND is a collection of personal points-of-view. Everything at VICELAND has a reason to exist and a strong perspective. Their mission is to examine the world we live in, and explore the things that confuse us, make us curious, make us laugh, or awaken our sense of wonder.
