8 weeks geared to beginners that would like to know more about Tahitian Dance (from Tahiti) and itʻs styles.
During these 8 Thursdays you will dive deep into how to dance Tahitian, both aparima (slow) and ʻotea (fast).
You will learn all the basic steps and some not so basic to develop skill, grace and confidence as a dancer.
After your eight weeks for beginners are completed you may join our dance troupe Ka Lehua I Milia that meets on Thursdays at 6:30pm.
What to expect:
Lots of learning, fun and lots of work. Please note I said work (you will really sweat).
Thursdays 7:45-8:45pm for 8 consecutive Thursdays starting January 11.
$99 for the 8 sessions.
What to bring:
Comfortable form fitting workout clothes.
No shoes, food or gum are allowed in the dance room.
