Children ages 7 to 12 are invited to get arty with architecture! Explore the archaeological Hohokam village of Pueblo Grande, walk into their homes and discover how they built 2-story structures the length of a football field without any mechanical equipment and without the tool of a wheel! Practice various architectural skills from adobe brick making, to drawing with charcoal and pencils, and experimenting with insulation! Discover how the Hohokam and modern day architects used different building materials to help protect from the heat and cold. Advanced registration is required by February 2.
