Yoga nidra is a practice that takes you into a state of integrated deep relaxation while remaining awake at a conscious level. When the body and mind find complete stillness, the consciousness remains to restore system imbalances and move toward healing physical, psychological and chronic conditions. Furthermore, the stillness allows a person to see beyond the space-time experience, perceptions and identity, and thus fosters a person's ability to live well with any circumstance. You will be mostly lying down, so bring your favorite blanket/pillow/mat (we have a few to share) and release all the stress that you've been carrying around. This class has a suggested donation $10 although no one is turned away from lack of funds. Any additional donations are appreciated.
