Join us for our next Stitch & Bitch! Bring a project and/or an eagerness to learn. We will have additional materials for use, all you have to do is show up!
Event art by Joanna Barakat.
In addition to our regular Stitch & Bitch activities (i.e. stitching, bitching, and sometimes champagne), we will also be creating a block for the #UDHRquilt project. This submission will be part of a global collaborative craftivist movement with over 130+ contributing artists, led by Stephanie Dunlap & Tal Fitzpatrick.
This project is designed to celebrate the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) & raise awareness of the ways it is being violated around the world today. This project will also raise funds & awareness for UNHCR through the sale of forthcoming zines about the project.
