About the Instructor: Evon received her massage certification and license through the Swedish Institute of Massage in New York in 1999. Bodywork opened the door to Yoga, and in 2003 she went through Yoga Teacher Training at Desert Song Healing Arts Center in Phoenix. Evon immersed herself into practicing, teaching and studying. She is honored to have served the Phoenix community through public classes, individual one-on-one sessions, on hiking trails, in conference rooms and in backyards. She believes that Yoga is every word, breath, step, thought and choice and can be practiced by anyone, anywhere.
Evon stays inspired by observing how the application of Yoga techniques has deepened her connection to every part of herself and how she relates to her community. Witnessing this heightened sense of awareness in her students strengthens her commitment for teaching.
