This course tackles the most French of French cookies – les Macarons! Light, delicate, with intense flavors and complex textures, we’ll master each step and discuss the tricks and tips for perfecting this most challenging cookie. This class will feature French-style meringue technique just like the recipes used at the premier Macarons stores in France.
We'll make and color the meringue batter, work on piping technique, and prepare, color and flavor a wide variety of classic and unique fillings. Everyone will take home a beautifully packaged batch of macarons they've made!
