The revered ambience of Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Alabama is the birth place of The Rolling Stones 1971 album, Sticky Fingers. Drawn there by the power of the R&B records that were flowing out of that studio the band ultimately would craft a wide ranging collection of tunes, from the country inspired «Wild Horses» to the gut punch that is «Brown Sugar», Union/32's look at this iconic album visits every tune with more introspection and ambience than the originals bar room brawling style.
THE NEW STANDARD is a Jazz Series that showcases brilliant music icons by bringing their body of work into a whole new space within the strong, playful hands of Jazz. Hear songs you know, painted with fresh new colors… all curated and performed by the wonderful minds of the Phoenix Jazz community!
